Redispersible Polymer Powder: Properties and Applications
Redispersible polymer powder is a water-soluble, redispersible powder primarily composed of copolymers such as ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE), and acrylic copolymers. It is produced through spray drying and uses polyvinyl alcohol as a protective colloid. Upon contact with water, the powder quickly redistributes into an emulsion.
